SARS has announced alternative means of communication / utilisation of their services during the 21 day lockdown period.
1. Online Services
Should you need to interact with SARS, please use their online services such as e-Filling, the SARS MobiApp and e@syfile.
The following services are available on e-Filling:

- Tax Compliance Status (Application of TCS)
- Filling of tax returns
- Updating of personal details (including banking details)
- Requesting a statement of your account
- Registering for Income Tax

- Tax product registration
- Tax Directive Management
- Lodging of Complaints
- Username retrieval and password reset

2. SARS Contact Centre
SARS will have a team available at the SARS Contact Centre to assist with the following services:

3. Limited service at SARS branch by appointment.
Should any of these channels not be sufficient to address your specific issue and you still want to consult with a SARS agent in person, you can, in exceptional circumstances. You will need to book an appointment at a SARS branch nearest to you. To do this, you should go to the SARS website.
You are reminded of the lockdown restrictions that are in place when travelling to the SARS branch.
