The PKF Octagon CA Graduate Experience

PKF Octagon is a SAICA accredited training office and offers training contracts to postgraduates with an accredited Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Science.

We provide a comprehensive and structured formal training programme under the tutelage of a highly skilled and dedicated training and development team. Our mentors are always on hand to provide you with the support and the resources that you need to ensure that you get the best training for career development and advancement.

Minimum requirements:

  • Obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Science or currently enrolled for PGDA
  • An outstanding academic record
  • Mathematics Core and Accounting subjects in Matric
  • Must have passed all exams on the first attempt and achieved average results of 65% in Bachelor of Accounting Science degree
  • Previous work experience (vacation/temporary/volunteer) in finance or accounting department, preferably in an audit firm
  • A drivers’ licence
  • Must be a South African citizen

Should you be shortlisted; the first step will be a first-round interview with our Recruitment Manager or Recruitment Coordinator. A successful outcome will lead to a technical assessment, which is a prerequisite to pass for the final interview. In the final stage, you will be required to prepare and present a presentation to a panel. We wish you all the best!

The PKF Octagon CA Adventure Vacation Programme

The PKF Octagon CA Graduate Adventure is a unique one-week experience for all levels of graduates You get to meet and network with individuals across the various services lines of the firm. You will understand the core of our business which is our people and our unique way of working with our clients. You will get the opportunity to share ideas, bring new perspectives and in turn you will have unadulterated access to some of the greatest minds in auditing, accounting, and assurance.
