2018: A YEAR OF EXCELLENCE

As the new year is well under way, PKF Octagon is already into the swing of things. With an exciting year ahead of us, we thought we’d begin by updating our valued clients on what has been going on at the firm.

Towards the end of last year, we announced our exciting association with PKF. This association gives us, and our clients, access to a much larger skill set, technical expertise and both a national and international footprint. In short, we have you and your best interests in mind, and we are partnering for growth – growth of the firm and growth of our clients.

This year has already seen us welcoming two new partners on board, Henico Schalekamp and Floris Schalekamp, who joined us on 1 January as part of the PKF affiliation. We extend a warm welcome to them and their staff.

With many new exciting developments underway, we’re excited that Trudie Rohlandt, who has been a Tax Associate, is coming on board as a Tax Partner, and Nicole Nowak will be joining as an Audit Partner from 1 March. We wish them both the best in their well-deserved new appointments.

And while there is growth and expansion, we must bid farewell to Djurk Venter, a valued partner at the firm. We wish him all the best for his new endeavours and would like to thank him for the time he spent helping make the firm what it is today.

With so much in store for this year, we look forward to a continued successful relationship with you as we successfully navigate 2018 together.
